    Description

    This is an exceedingly rare soprano or piccolo (transposes up an octave) concertina, circa 1919, and one of Lachenal's premier Edeophone models, in A440 tuning and perfect condition.  As with a soprano concertina, it speaks very quickly; you'll never find a faster box.  Its timbre can be anything from a haunting ethereal high whisper (when played with a light touch) to a range and power to cut through anything when pushed. Its keyboard is the same as a 48 key treble, except that every note is up an octave, and comes with wrist straps, steel reeds and buttons.
    Completely restored and voiced by Wim Wakker of Concertina Connection in 2003;
    the invoice listing work done is included with the  images
    .
    You can hear it played with a light touch at the 2:40 mark in this online recording
    Comes with an IBM mainframe module shipping container (12"x12"x12") that you could drop 10 feet without disturbing the concertina within.
    Reason for selling:  I have another soprano as well.
