    Description

Made in England Premier Royal Scot 14"×12" Marching Snare. Originally designed for pipe bands, this drum features all original hardware. Die cast hoops, 10 lug drum.
Drum features the innovative dual snare system as well as the Premier 2000 floating snare system. There is a secondary adjustable strainer on the inside of the drum at the batter side. As well as the 2000 floating snare throw on the resonant side. Snare side is an old Rogers head. I have a new head that I'll include with the drum.... Both have adjustability and all mechanisms function well. Snare side wires are o.e. twin Premier brand 24 strand. Internal wires are a 24 strand. Chrome shines nice. No cracks in the shell...I've used it to practice and keep my wrists strong since I don't play anymore .... but would like to. My hearing has been lost from too much rock n roll music in my early drumming years  :)
{NOTE: since the Rogers bottom snare head it cracked....I'm going to cut it in part out to take photos of the inside.} ... from my research: It has a birch shell and beech re-rings and die cast hoops.   Premier emblem has a serial number: 009315.  Overall the snare is in very good condition including the shell wrap.  One lug has a crack but works. Has a rubber leg rest. It is an awesome sounding drum the way it is.
I'm selling misc hardware and drums from my spare bedroom to paint and fix up for my grandkids.  Been restoring vintage drums for a Lot of years but no more.  Never got to this one but is in good condition. Special care in packing for a safe trip. It is a bit heavy and very well made.  Thank you for your bid,  Ron
