Vintage Late 70’s 10 Lug Slingerland Festival COS Snare Drum No Factory Muffler

For sale: This is a vintage, late 1970’s Slingerland 10 lug “Festival” model snare drum in good used condition. Overall the drum is exceptionally clean and in good used condition.
No major issues, only slight cosmetic flaws (very light pitting over chrome shell and lugs). Also worth noting an area where there is a fairly large blemish in the chrome as seen in photo just above butt plate.
This drum was either a factory error or special order and was built without the standard internal muffler/tone control.
It is fitted with a new Remo Ambassador coated batter head and it’s original “Slingerland” head on its snare/resonant side.
The throw-off/trainer works as it should and the drum is equipped with a new set of 20 strand generic snare wires.
Overall an excellent sounding and versatile vintage snare drum from one of the great American drum companies -Slingerland.
