vintage ROGERS DRUMS 1960s POWERTONE snare shell 5x14 chrome over brass

Yee haw !!
You are looking at a good used vintage ROGERS DRUMS 5x14 Powertone snare drum shell.
Chrome over brass

The size is 5x14.
This one has Serial number 8006.
Year is about 1965 or 1966 give or take a couple years.
Parts are missing, it's just a shell.
The chrome script badge remains, and is in fairly nice condition.
The paper label is still inside, and is in great condition.
The grommet is still in, all other parts are gone.
Powertone snare drums are eight lug drums.  You need 8 lugs.
This snare drum shell would be a great drum when put back together.
I like Powertone snares a lot.   I usually play one out.  You could too.
There are a couple of scuffs in a panel or two.
Photos show most of the flaws.
One is the (common) dent behind the throw off.
It is not deep or large, but it's there.
Another very slight dent behind one lug.  That's about it for dents.
Check the inside shots of the shell.
It is easier to see dents from the inside, than from the outside.
And it has a scratch or two, one is above the script logo.
The chrome is clean and looks good, but you can further detail it yourself.
This shell itself weighs 3 pounds and 5.8 ounces.
