Whaley Royce Rope Snare Drum with Canada Coat of Arms Toronto pre-1920 14x14

Description

Antique rope drum made in Toronto by Whaley & Royce. Most likely dates before 1910. Features the Canada Coat of Arms on the side. I think the body is steel and the ends are painted wood. Someone has replaced the skins obviously. The rest of it seems original, but I can't verify.
It sounds like a drum and looks like a drum. There are a couple of small dents in the metal. It measures approximately 14" diameter and 14" tall. A neat piece of Canadian history!
